wildes & weinberg welcomes jennifer alvarez for spring externship

MANAGING PARTNER MICHAEL WILDES WELCOMES JENNIFER ALVAREZ, A SECOND SEMESTER HONORS STUDENT FROM SAINT PETERS UNIVERSITY, WHO JOINS US FOR HER SPRING EXTERNSHIP.

Jennifer Alvarez joins the team in our Englewood, NJ office.

Jennifer is majoring in Psychology and Criminal Justice with a minor in Computer Science at Saint Peter’s University.  Her top grades has earned her a spot in St. Peter’s honors program and she is currently writing a thesis on the Psychological Effects of Terrorism on Adults.

Aside from her academic excellence, Jennifer demonstrates leadership qualities. As a college freshman she volunteered for the Fugitive Safe Surrender Program (November 2013). As an upperclassman, she is a Resident Assistant at St. Peter’s University. And in her free time and on Friday’s, Jennifer works in her hometown at Palisades Park Boro Hall and is a substitute teacher for the Palisades Park School District.  Moreover, she has been the manager of St. Peters cheerleading squad and volunteer coach and referee for her towns indoor soccer program.  These activities have brought Jennifer to the realization that it is her desire to study law and one day, become a family court attorney specializing in juvenile rights. As a result of all of Jennifer’s volunteer work, she was a past recipient of The President’s Volunteer Service Award, signed by President Obama.

Jennifer has already been accepted to several law schools and plans on starting shortly after her graduation in May.
