
JR’s primary focus is on business immigration matters for artists, musicians, designers, and related creative professionals, specifically those pursuing the O-1/EB-1 visa classes for "extraordinary" artists. Drawing upon his own experience in the performing arts, he brings a unique and nuanced perspective that allows him to effectively address the needs of creators and artists.
In addition to his experience in immigration law, JR has practiced as a criminal defense attorney and also maintains an active interest in topics relating to intellectual property, election, and entertainment law. He is a graduate of the University of Vermont (BA), the University of Aberdeen in Aberdeen, Scotland (Mlitt), and Suffolk University Law School in Boston (JD). He is licensed to practice in NY, MA, and the Northern District Court of New York, and is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
