Soomin Lisa Ryu was awarded a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from New York University in May 2000 and a Juris Doctorate from Brooklyn Law School in May of 2004. She is admitted to the New York and New Jersey State Bars and is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). Lisa is fluent in Korean.
Lisa has previous experience in commercial litigation and subsequently worked in employment-based immigration with a focus on O-1, O-2, H-1B, L-1, EB-1 (Extraordinary Ability and Outstanding Researcher/Professor), National Interest Waiver visa petitions, Appeals, Adjustment of Status applications, as well as family immigration matters. She worked at an immigration firm and as a solo practitioner.
