The U.S. Department of State has posted notification that the results of the 2012 Diversity Lottery previously posted on its website have been voided, disappointing thousands of individuals who had been informed of their selection.
Apparently some glitch in the system produced results that did not represent a “fair, random selection” of entrants as required by U.S. law. Any results posted from the website are deemed voided. A new selection process will be conducted and announced in mid July.
