Talia Heller graduated from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City, where she selected as the Commencement Speaker for her graduating class. While she was in law school, she participated in the Kathryn O. Greenberg Immigration Justice Clinic and received a Faculty Writing Award for Civil Advocacy. She was also a staff editor for the Moot Court Honor Society and participated in the Clara Barton International Humanitarian Law Competition, where her team received the award for Best Brief, and the 29th Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, for which she received an Honorable Mention for Best Individual Oralist. Prior to Law School, she received her Bachelor’s of Fine Arts from Emerson College with a Major in Acting and a Minor in Writing, and spent some time working as an actor and comedian.

Talia, who is now admitted to practice law in the State of New York, is a member of our Litigation, Family, and Business Visa team. She has experience working on various employment-based visas, including O-1, J-1, and R-1 visas, to name a few. She also works with many families who are sponsoring loved ones for Green Cards, and she is well-versed in the entire process. Talia also assists our Litigation team with Federal Court lawsuits, including those that arise under the Administrative Procedure Act (APA), as well as cases related to relief from removal, such as asylum, withholding of removal, and cancellation of removal, before various Immigration Courts around the country.
