Associate Attorney, Wildes & Weinberg, P.C.
Joshua H. Wildes is an Associate Attorney at Wildes & Weinberg, P.C., a premier immigration law firm headquartered in New York City representing clients across the United States and around the world.
As a third-generation immigration attorney, Josh proudly continues the legacy of a firm founded more than 65 years ago by his grandfather—who notably represented John Lennon—and now led by his father. Recognized for his professional excellence, Josh has been named a New York Metro Rising Star in Immigration Law by Super Lawyers and was formally qualified as an Expert Witness in Immigration Law by a Military Judge in a Court Martial proceeding.
Prior to joining the firm as an attorney, Josh served several federal government roles that shaped his comprehensive understanding of the immigration system, including as an Attorney Advisor with the U.S. Department of Justice’s Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) at the Miami Immigration Court. He had also previously served as a Judicial Law Clerk with EOIR in Miami, a Legal Intern with the Department of Homeland Security’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Office of Chief Counsel, and a Legal Intern with the U.S. Department of Justice’s U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York (Civil Division). In these roles, he worked closely with federal prosecutors and Immigration Judges on complex removal proceedings and high-stakes immigration matters.
Josh’s legal practice spans the full spectrum of U.S. immigration law, with particular emphasis on family-based immigration, employment-based petitions, humanitarian relief, business immigration, consular processing, and federal litigation.
Josh is admitted to practice law in New York, New Jersey, and Florida, is authorized to appear before Immigration Courts nationwide, and is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
