
Senior Associate Attorney in the Litigation Department
Stacy Huber is a Senior Associate Attorney in the Litigation Department, where her primary practice focus includes litigation matters, removal defense, applications for asylum, waivers, family-based petitions, consular processing, federal court appeals and petitions, and more.
Stacy’s practice specializes in navigating complex cases at all stages of litigation before the Immigration Courts, Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA), and Federal District and Circuit Courts. She also represents clients pursuing various applications before USCIS, such as political asylum, adjustment of status, and naturalization, as well as fraud, criminal, and provisional unlawful presence waivers. She also assists with consular processing before the U.S. Department of State.
She often handles some of the firm’s most tedious litigation issues, including those arising within the context of motions to reopen and appeals, and plays a key role in researching intricate legal questions and developing case strategies while navigating ever changing regulations and policies within immigration law. Her experience has included representing people from all over the world, often with complicated histories and backgrounds. Her practice often involves assisting clients through filing for cancellation of removal, Writs of Mandamus, Petitions for Habeas Corpus, and Petitions for Review before the Circuit Courts.
Stacy previously served as a Senior Associate Attorney (Immigration) at DiRaimondo & Masi, LLP for many years, as well as Legal Intern for the Office of the New York State Attorney General – Consumer Frauds and Protection Bureau. She is licensed in New York, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and Immigration Courts around the country.
