Mr. Nevols is an extraordinary photographer who has been commissioned for a range of high-profile editorial and commercial projects featuring internationally recognized talent. He was selected by Forbes Europe to photograph its annual 30 Under 30 feature, capturing portraits of leading figures in business, culture, and the arts.[1] He was also commissioned by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) to create an official portrait of Penélope Cruz who was invited by BAFTA to give a talk about her career.[2] In addition, Mr. Nevols led the official promotional shoot for Paramount +’s live event Beckham & Friends Live, directing and capturing the key visuals used across international marketing and broadcast materials.[3] His work helped define the bold and cinematic tone of the campaign and demonstrated his ability to collaborate effectively with globally recognized talent.
Most recently, Mr. Nevols was selected by Netflix to lead the official photography for Toxic Town, a high-profile original drama based on the true story of the Corby toxic waste case.[4] The show, which stars Jodie Whittaker, Aimee Lou Wood, and Robert Carlyle, was one of Netflix’s most anticipated UK releases. Mr. Nevols was responsible for the key art, unit stills, and promotional imagery used in the global launch campaign. His work played a critical role in shaping the series’ visual identity, capturing its tense, atmospheric tone while highlighting its emotional and political themes. The images have been featured across press materials, digital platforms, and outdoor media worldwide.
Mr. Nevols’ photography has appeared in distinguished media Forbes, The Times, The Guardian, and Creative Review, and he has been recognized for his ability to capture striking, emotionally resonant portraits. His portraits of Saoirse Ronan and James McArdle, commissioned as part of a high-profile promotional shoot for their play The Tragedy of MacBeth, received critical acclaim for its intimacy and refined visual style.[5] The play was later nominated at the 2022 Olivier Awards for Best Revival.[6] His work is regularly sought after for campaigns and publications that require a distinctive blend of cinematic storytelling and editorial sophistication.
Mr. Nevols is regularly commissioned by brands and institutions such as HBO, AMC, and Apple TV+, where his creative leadership continues to shape high-profile campaigns across editorial, commercial, and entertainment sectors.
Wildes & Weinberg was founded in 1960 by Senior Partner, Leon Wildes. He was best known for his successful representation of former Beatle John Lennon and his wife Yoko Ono as they fought the Nixon Administration during a five year bitterly contested Deportation Proceeding.
Nearly three quarters of a century later, the firm continues to concentrate its practice in all aspects of U.S. immigration and nationality law, servicing the immigration requirements of prominent American and International firms, banks, industrial, financial, and manufacturing concerns, as well as law firms in connection with the personnel needs of their foreign national employees.
In addition, the firm has a distinguished clientele and has done substantial immigration work for performing artists, directors, writers, models, actors/actresses, athletes, fine artists, art dealers, curators, and literary agents. Most notable was Leon Wildes’ successful representation of former Beatle John Lennon and his artist wife, Yoko Ono in their deportation proceedings, the basis of which has inspired legislation, and has been portrayed in films, plays, and literary works worldwide. Some of the firm’s other distinguished clients include scholar Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks (z”l), as well as soccer icon Pele, Master Chef Jean-Georges, musicians Sinead O’ Connor and Boy George, as well as First Lady Melania Trump and her family.
Michael Wildes, the firm’s Managing Partner, is also currently serving his fifth term as Mayor of Englewood, New Jersey, is the author of Safe Haven in America: Battles to Open the Golden Door (which draws on over a quarter of a century of his practice in the immigration field), is an Adjunct Professor at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York, and serves as Counsel to Lincoln Center and several international/corporate law firms.
Despite difficulties currently being encountered in dealing with U.S. immigration authorities, the firm has maintained an extraordinary track record for success in its cases. The firm’s litigation group has expanded its efforts in filing Mandamus Actions and other Actions in Federal Courts throughout the nation.
In addition, Wildes & Weinberg’s multilingual staff is spread throughout its offices in New York City, Englewood, New Jersey, Miami, Florida, and by appointment only in Los Angeles, California and Tel Aviv, Israel, and are known for their experience and special expertise in processing each foreign national’s case with nothing less than the highest level of professionalism.
