Safa Arun is an Associate Attorney in the firm’s Business Group. She represents entrepreneurs, executives, professionals, and multinational employers in a broad range of employment-based immigration matters.

Safa advises clients on nonimmigrant and immigrant visa strategies, including on E-2, L-1, TN, H-1B, and PERM matters, amongst others. She works closely with founders, investors, researchers, executives, and emerging companies to develop strategic immigration solutions aligned with their professional and business objectives.

Prior to joining the firm, Safa practiced employment-based immigration law at leading international law firms, where she advised corporate and individual clients on complex immigration matters, labor certification processes, and workforce mobility strategies. She also served as a Law Clerk for the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), a Legal Intern for the United States Commodity Futures Trading Commission, a Workday Consultant for PwC, and a Business Analyst for Deloitte Consulting.

Safa earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, where she also received a Certificate in Management from the Wharton School. She earned her Bachelor of Science, with High Honors, from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Safa is admitted to practice law in New York and is fluent in Bengali and Urdu.
