Navjot (Nav) Khinda joined Wildes & Weinberg in 2025 as an Associate Attorney. She has been a licensed attorney since 2014, and has many years of experience in immigration law, having worked at various prestigious immigration law firms. She is admitted to practice law in the State of Florida, as well as before Immigration Courts across the United States.
Nav’s legal practice encompasses the full spectrum of United States immigration law, with an emphasis on cases involving complex procedural histories and novel legal claims. As a member of the litigation team, Nav’s practice focuses mainly on deportation defense and federal court litigation. She has extensive experience litigating cases in immigration courts across the country and before various government agencies, including USCIS, ICE, U.S. Embassies and Consulates, and many more.
Nav has also successfully helped numerous individuals and families obtain family-based green cards, asylum, other forms of humanitarian relief, and citizenship in the United States, as well as waivers and long-term status for persons whose cases involve alleged fraud, past criminal convictions, and other complex factual or legal issues. She also has experience fighting cases before the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) and other federal courts. In addition, Nav advises individuals on the immigration consequences of criminal charges and convictions, and post-conviction relief.
Nav also has experience practicing as a criminal defense attorney and is fluent in Punjabi. She received her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from the University of Alberta and her Juris Doctor from the Florida Coastal School of Law, and is also licensed to practice law in Canada.
