Managing Partner Michael Wildes is proud to announce the approval of the petition filed to secure EB-1 classification for renowned tattoo artist, Filip Fabian.
Mr. Fabian masterfully combines watercolor, linework and dotwork to create tattoos that look more like watercolor paintings than ink on skin. Mr. Fabian hails from a hardscrabble family based in a small town near Kosice, Slovakia. Today, at the spry age of 29 years old, time and pressure have transformed his raw talent into a precious art form. His talents have graced cultural centers around the world, covering ground in London, Berlin, and Barcelona. He has held residencies at global tattoo institutions like Tribo Tattoo & Piercing in Prague, Kaleidoscope Studio in Bondi Beach, Sydney and Black and Blue Tattoo in San Francisco, California. He has been honored with prestigious awards from Tattoo Grand Prix in Brno. Given these honors and reputation, he is routinely spotlighted in major publications Skin deep magazine, 247 Ink Magazine, Aktualne, Blesk, InkPPL Magazine and has served as a judge at the Tattd Convention.
Wildes & Weinberg, P.C. was founded in 1960 by Michael Wildes’ father, Leon Wildes, whose best-known accomplishment was his successful representation of John Lennon in his widely publicized deportation proceedings (the circumstances of which have inspired several films and documentaries). In addition to running a highly successful immigration law practice, Michael is also currently serving his third term as Mayor of Englewood, New Jersey, is the author of Safe Haven in America: Battles to Open the Golden Door (which draws on over a quarter of a century of his practice in the immigration field), is an Adjunct Professor at the Benjamin N.
