Managing Partner Michael Wildes is proud to announce the approval of the petition filed to secure EB-1 classification for renowned automotive expert Anders Gustafsson.

Mr. Gustafsson has worked in the auto industry for decades, beginning his career in 1997 with Hertz First Rent a Car in the Nordics as Director of Sales, Marketing, and Franchise Development, where he played an integral part in the accelerated expansion of the Hertz Brand across the Nordics. Following that, Anders served as President and CEO for Hertz Sweden and COO for all Nordic countries from 2000 to 2009. During this time, he spearheaded a 21% increase in market share and drove revenues from $20 million to an astounding $270 million., Anders remained with the company in the role of Chairman from 2009 to 2019. Anders joined Volvo Cars Sweden as Deputy CEO & Sales Director in the Nordic in 2009. He became President & CEO two years later. Subsequently, in 2015, Anders established the EMEA region and led the team to deliver excellent sales growth. Anders held the role of Senior Vice President for the EMEA region, Head of Volvo Cars within the Americas Region, and President & CEO of Volvo Car USA LLC. Holding both roles since 2017, Anders area of responsibility has spanned more than 80 countries during his career. Anders Gustafsson’s legacy as Senior Vice President of Americas & President and CEO of Volvo Car USA was remarkable. During his time as head of the Americas, Anders led the teams to increase sales from 100,000 to 150,000 while tripling market earnings and boosting retailer profitability by 400%. Anders is now pursuing his next journey in his accelerating career as CEO at Holdacha LLC, Johnson Automotive.

With deep knowledge of the strengths and efficiencies of a holistic value chain, Anders is skilled in his ability to capture value throughout the entire ownership cycle. Anders has progressed through the ranks of business throughout his career, operating in myriad automotive industry segments. In parallel, Anders has chaired and formed parts of boards, financial institutions, and IT organizations. These experiences have given Anders a robust and rounded understanding of the global automotive industry, encompassing its adjacent monetary and technological sectors. Throughout his career, Anders has successfully spearheaded and executed multiple industry-wide transformation initiatives, with Carsharing Mobility one of many examples of a pioneered, consumer-centric service.
