o-1 approval secured for apollonia holzer, holistic movement specialist

Wildes & Weinberg, P.C.  Managing Partner Michael Wildes proudly announces that the firm has secured an O-1 approval for Apollonia Holzer, Holistic Movement Specialist and an Expert in Eastern Medical Practices. Apollonia Holzer has built an illustrious reputation over the past 20 years and has become recognized by dancers, physical therapists and physicians alike as a leader in eastern medicine; specifically movement-based therapeutic practices.

She is renowned for her unique integration of various forms of therapy, focusing on movements in the body that are often invisible to the layperson’s eye. With a background in dance, Ms. Holzer embarked on the study of both Eastern and Western techniques for pain management, stress relief, and general wellness in order to provide specialized services to her clientele.  Specifically, she has mastered an impressive variety of therapeutic practices that provide alternative treatments for pain management, stress relief, and full-body wellbeing.   Apollonia has also elevated the practice of Pilates’ to harness its healing capability with her incorporation of the Eastern concept of Meridians, in a practice she calls Notochord Pilates.  Her original publication entitled “Notochord Pilates” has influenced the field of movement, by broaching new territory and opening a new channel of therapeutic methods using the embryonic spine in a Pilates setting to create a new technique to be used in movement therapy.

Mr. Wildes is honored to have secured the O-1 visa classification for  Apollonia Holzer, master Pilates teacher and referred to by many as the “teacher of teachers.”

The O-1 visa classification is a non-immigrant visa classification for temporary workers, granted by the United States Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS) to an individual “who possesses extraordinary ability in the sciences, arts, education, business, or athletics, or who has a demonstrated record of extraordinary achievement in the motion picture or television industry and has been recognized nationally or internationally for those achievements.” There are also accompanying visa categories available to certain individuals who provide essential support to O-1 visa holders, and derivative immigration status available to immediate family members of O-1 visa holders.
