o-1 approval secured for dr. eran schenker, medical technology innovator

Managing Partner Michael Wildes is pleased to announce that Wildes & Weinberg has secured an O-1 approval for Dr. Eran Schenker, who is unequivocally one of the world’s most acclaimed medical technology innovators.

Dr. Schenker received world-wide recognition from government organizations, world-renowned technology organizations and international events due to his astounding break-through innovations and technologies that would influence the medical industry for decades to come.

Dr. Schenker holds a patent for the technology related to the current technologies that we enjoy today in wellness smart watches such as the FitBit, Microsoft Band, Samsung Gear and Apple Watch.

His innovations in this arena lead to his creation of AMON, a first of its kind mobile smart watch, which is an advanced wearable, personal health system designed to monitor and to evaluate seven human vital signs including heart rate, heart rhythm, 2-lead ECG, blood pressure, O2 blood saturation, skin perspiration and body temperature. The device utilized advanced bio-sensors and gathered vital information, analyzed it and transmitted the data to a remote telemedicine center.

Dr. Schenker was also the Founder and Director of the Israel Aerospace Medicine Institute and he served as the Head of the Aerospace Medicine Research Center for the Fisher Institute for Air and Space Strategic Studies.  His work in aerospace medicine studies included conducting ground-breaking space research, including a study which led to the discovery that probiotics can be used in space to fight diminished immune systems in astronauts.

Dr. Schenker has also been honored by President Shimon Peres for his innovation of MedUAV – first unpiloted battlefield resupply and evacuation air MedEvac aircraft, where he was selected as one of 60 best innovations presented at the “Facing Tomorrow” exhibition, part of the Israel Presidential Conference 2008.  He is currently consultant to an international pharmaceutical company related to a combination therapy in fix dose one pill solution.

Dr. Schenker next endeavor is the “StreverMed” – medical stretcher, based on the MDT (Monitor Decide & Treat) core technology. The system combine wellbeing, health and medical Internet of Things (IoT) and the If This Then That (IFTTT) concept in a game changer concept for next 21 century medical stretcher.
