James Reid has been involved in contemporary photography, art and design for almost twenty years. He has spearheaded projects in contemporary photography, art and design for internationally renowned publications and companies.  Mr. Reid co-founded the London-based creative agency Field Projects in 2015 and has worked with a select group of international clients, delivering image-led content, brand identity, editorial projects and campaigns across print and digital mediums. Mr. Reid’s work has been recognized with two major awards in his space: Best Overall Website Experience’ at the 2016 Archiboo Web Awards (AWA) and the “Yellow Pencil” Award for Outstanding Creative Direction by Design & Art Direction Org (D&AD). He has also curated various exhibitions over the last decade, written books and magazine profiles on photographers, designers and travel, and has served on the juries of several international photographic art competitions. Due to his stellar reputation, Mr. Reid has received several prestigious offers to work in the U.S. as a Creative Director.

In order to qualify for an O-1 visa, which allows individuals of extraordinary ability in the arts, sciences, athletics, education or business to live and work in the United States, a foreign national must provide adequate documentation to demonstrate that he/she has sustained national or international acclaim in their field.

In addition, the individual must provide substantial evidence to prove that he/she meets three of the evidence categories defined by statute, as well as a written advisory opinion from a labor union or relevant peer group. The O-1 visa applicant must also show that he/she has an offer of employment in the United States to work in his/her field of expertise (or several offers of employment from multiple sources, along with a third-party Agent to petition on the individual’s behalf and connect him/her to the multiple employers).
