Dawes has collaborated and performed with a diverse range of artists, including renowned Moody Blues frontman, Justin Hayward, renowned jazz guitarist Mike Stern, Seth Lakeman, and legendary acoustic guitarist Tommy Emmanuel, with whom he co-released the collaborative album, Accomplice Series, Vol. 3.
