Managing Partner Michael Wildes is pleased to announce that the firm has successfully obtained O-1 visa classification for the talented Graphic Designer/Art Director/Tattoo Artist Barry “Baz” Shailes, based on his extraordinary ability in the arts.
Baz has garnered a reputation of renown as a talented graphic designer and artist. He has designed branding and marketing materials for many popular organizations and festivals such as The New England Shake Up and the Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekend. He has also worked as a prominent tattoo artist with Upstate Black N Blue, and will be working with Hard Knocks Motorcycle Entertainment as Chief Art Director and tattoo artist at the company’s new studio in New York City. Additionally, numerous popular tattoo industry and major media publications have published articles about Baz and his work.

The O-1 visa classification is a non-immigrant visa classification for temporary workers, granted by the United States Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS) to an individual “who possesses extraordinary ability in the sciences, arts, education, business, or athletics, or who has a demonstrated record of extraordinary achievement in the motion picture or television industry and has been recognized nationally or internationally for those achievements.” There are also accompanying visa categories available to certain individuals who provide essential support to O-1 visa holders, and derivative immigration status available to immediate family members of O-1 visa holders.
