Exciting News: The U.S. Diversity Visa (“Green Card”) Lottery for 2025 opened on Wednesday, October 04, 2023!

The application period opened on Wednesday, October 04, 2023, at 12:00 PM EDT and will close on Tuesday, November 07, 2023, at 12:00 PM EST. Applicants are encouraged to apply early, as the website may experience technical issues due to high volume at the end of the application period.

Moreover, it is important to remember the following:

  • With limited exceptions, eligibility is dependent upon an applicant’s country of
  • It is FREEto apply through the government website – if a site charges you a fee, beware.
  • Applicants must include their spouse and all unmarried children under the age of 21 in their application – including adopted or stepchildren, regardless of whether they live with the applicant or intend to accompany the applicant to the United States; failing to list these individuals will render both the applicant and the individuals INELIGIBLEfor the Diversity Visa Lottery.
