uscis announces new form i-9: required after may 7, 2013

USCIS has announced a new version of Form I-9, showing a March 8, 2013 revision date.

Previous versions of the Form may only be used prior to May 7, 2013. As of that date, only the new March 8, 2013 version of Form I-9 may be used.

Most notably, the new version is now 2 pages instead of 1. Data fields have also been added, including the employer’s foreign passport information (if applicable) as well as phone number and e-mail address.
