michael wildes attends yeshiva university’s “general counsel’s council” pro bono program reception

Managing Partner Michael Wildes recently attended Yeshiva University’s “General Counsel’s Council” Pro Bono Program Reception hosted at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.  Michael Wildes, who serves as immigration counsel for the program, presented the work of Wildes & Weinberg, P.C. in providing pro bono legal advice to the University on various U.S. immigration related legal issues.

These efforts provide free legal advice for the students and faculty of the University’s 11 undergraduate and graduate school programs located throughout New York City. Michael Wildes and his father Leon Wildes, founder of Wildes & Weinberg, P.C., both lecture regularly at all Yeshiva University campuses.

This coming fall semester Michael Wildes will be teaching a class on immigration law at Cardozo Law, following his father’s 32 year legacy of teaching at the same institution.  Leon Wildes, a 1954 graduate of Yeshiva University, is widely known for his successfully representing former Beatle John Lennon and his wife, Yoko Ono, in their high profile deportation proceedings that were initiated by the Nixon administration.
