Best Immigration Lawyer, Attorneys in NYC, New York

michael wildes lectures at pace university law school

Managing Partner Michael Wildes spoke recently to future legal practitioners at Pace Law School about U.S. immigration and the practice of law.  Reflecting upon his own experience as a former law student, Michael provided guidance and helpful hints to the young attorneys to-be, particularly as they face today’s challenging hiring environment.  Michael shared insight into the qualities he looks for in attorney job candidates and offered advice that they can carry with them to future interviews.

Michael also covered basic aspects of the immigration practice area, including a broad introduction to visa classifications and current legal issues being debated in the field, such as Arizona’s SB 1070 law and federal preemption.  Michael and other members of the Wildes & Weinberg staff were encouraged by the interest in the practice area expressed by members of the audience and hope that many will go on to pursue their curiosity professionally in the field.

The presentation at Pace Law School is part of the firm’s ongoing efforts to improve the public’s understanding of this controversial and complicated area of U.S. law.  If you are interested in having Michael speak to your business or community group, please contact him at michael@wildeslaw.com.
