In the latest of a series of informative lectures, Managing Partner Michael Wildes spoke before members of the HR Alliance networking association. Mr. Wildes presented an interactive learning session focusing on U.S. immigration law as it applies to the human resources field, including H-1B visas and the Form I-9 employment authorization verification process. Several Wildes & Weinberg staff members were in attendance as HR Alliance members looked for errors in sample I-9 forms and cleared up common misconceptions that they had held about immigration compliance in their field. A smaller setting permitted an engaging question and answer session from the audience and follow-up inquiries were answered over refreshments.
