michael wildes presents an “immigration 101” workshop to law students from france

Managing Partner Michael Wildes, also an Adjunct Professor of Business Immigration Law at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City, is pictured here presenting an “Immigration 101” workshop to more than 15 students from the Faculty of Law and Political Science at the University of Rennes, France. The University specializes in science, technology, law, economy, management, and philosophy.
The students were brought to Wildes & Weinberg by Professor Ari Afilalo, a close friend and colleague of Mr. Wildes, who teaches courses in international trade law, international business transactions, and contracts, at The Rutgers School of Law – Camden. The purpose of their visit was to learn first hand the basics of U.S. Immigration and Nationality Law.
According to Professor Afilalo, “Michael Wildes is a generous host who is always willing to open his doors to educate those who want to learn more about our great country and how to legally live and work in America”.
Michael Wildes has been lecturing extensively on U.S. Immigration Law to universities, corporations, non-profit and social organizations, other law firms, immigration municipalities, and to the public at large for many years.  As a service to the community, his lectures are intended to increase public understanding of immigration laws and how to remain in compliance.  He has presented lectures at such noteworthy institutions as Yale University, Yeshiva University, Pace University, Berkeley College, and organizations such as the American Immigration Lawyers Association, Realtors, and other Foundations.
Fifty years since its inception, the firm of Wildes & Weinberg continues to serve a distinguished domestic and international clientele and covers all areas of U.S. immigration law, including employment and investment-based immigration, work permits, permanent residence for qualified individuals, family-based immigration, asylum applications and all temporary and permanent-type visas.
