michael wildes selected as discussion leader for world policy institute

On Thursday, May 2, 2013
Managing Partner Michael Wildes was a featured
table leader at a cocktail party and dinner reception hosted by The World
Policy Institute at The Times Center in New York City.  The theme of the evening
was World Policy around the Table: Dinner, Conversation and Celebration. U.S.
Immigration Policy was central to the evening’s dialogue.

The World Policy Institute is a non-partisan source of informed policy
leadership, which for more than four decades has developed and championed innovative policies that require a progressive and global point of view.
In an increasingly interdependent world, WPI focuses on complex challenges that
demand cooperative policy solutions to achieve an inclusive and sustainable global
market economy, engaged global civic participation and effective governance,
and collaborative approaches to national and global security

Mr. Wildes, a former
mayor himself (Englewood, NJ 2004-2010), was among a distinguished group
of professionals that WPI recognizes as an expert in their field to co-lead a
thought provoking discussion on the topics of immigration and sustainable
global cities and security across borders.  Mr. Wildes along with another
World Policy “insider” guided the table’s discussion on “How leaders
can best manage conflicts across borders, through resources, population
movements, information flows, and human rights”.
