Immigration Attorney and Managing Partner,  Michael Wildes, Wildes & Weinberg, P.C.,
held an immigration seminar for Yeshiva University international students at
The Wilf and Beren Campus’ this past week.

 

Jennifer Golden, International Student and Scholar
Advisor, invited attorney, Michael Wildes, to return to Yeshiva University and
address their international students on the options available to them as they
prepare for “Life after F-1”.  The
beneficiary of an F-1 visa is allowed to enter the U.S. as a full-time student
at an accredited college, university, seminary, conservatory, academic high
school, elementary school, or other academic institution in a language training
program.  The student must be enrolled in
a program or course of study that culminates in a degree, diploma, or
certificate.  The F-1 visa is only
granted to schools that are authorized by the U.S. government to accept
international students. 

 

In addition to being the Managing partner of a leading
immigration law firm which has offices in New York, New Jersey, and Florida,
Michael Wildes is also an Adjunct Professor of Business Immigration Law at The
Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Yeshiva University’s Law School. Moreover,
Michael Wildes,  is an alumni of Cardozo
as is his wife, Amy.  In fact, they met
in the firms Founding Partner, Leon Wildes, Immigration Law class.  According to Michael Wildes,  “ Immigration law is in our children’s DNA” .
