nyu school of law honors michael wildes

Managing Partner Michael Wildes and Founding Partner Leon Wildes have participated on panels at the New York University School of Law’s International Student Interview Program for nearly four decades to discuss visa regulations affecting foreign lawyers (taking LLM degrees)  in the United States.

The panel discussions focused on immigration regulations for LL.M. students and attorneys wishing to work in the United States. Specifically addressed was the paperwork necessary for employment in the United States, a comprehensive look at permission to work, and an elaborate description of various work visas. The presentations were followed by a Question & Answer session. The events are coordinated by Clara Solomon, Director, Counseling & Career Development, Office of Career Services, New York University School of Law.

In addition to serving as the firm’s Managing Partner, Michael Wildes also serves as Counsel to Lincoln Center, and several international/corporate law firms. Some of his recent clients include famed artist Sarah Brightman, many of the former Miss Universes’ as well as soccer icon Pele; master Chef Jean-Georges and other talented artists. Mr. Wildes, who is currently serving his fourth term as Mayor of Englewood, New Jersey, has also served on the New Jersey Governor’s Blue Ribbon Panel on Immigration.
