We are proud to share another immigration success story from our firm. Recently, we assisted another client in obtaining a marriage-based green card—an important milestone that will allow them to build a stable future in the United States with their spouse.
Marriage to a U.S. citizen or permanent resident is one of the most common and direct pathways to obtaining lawful permanent residence. Under U.S. immigration law, a qualifying spouse can file an I-130 Petition for Alien Relative to sponsor their partner. Once approved, the sponsored spouse may apply for a green card either through adjustment of status in the United States or consular processing abroad.
Although the process seems straightforward, marriage-based applications undergo significant scrutiny. Officers look for strong evidence of a bona fide relationship, proper documentation, and consistency throughout the application and interview.
That’s where our team comes in.
From the first consultation, we worked closely with our client and their spouse to ensure every step was handled with confidence and clarity. We guided them in gathering the right evidence—from joint financial documents to photographs and affidavits—to build a compelling and well-supported case.
Most importantly, we fully prepared them for the green-card interview. Our attorneys conduct detailed mock interviews to help clients understand what to expect, how to present themselves, and how to answer questions truthfully and effectively. Preparation is one of the most valuable services we provide, and in this case, it made all the difference.
The result? A smooth interview and an approval shortly afterward.
We are honored to help families stay together and build their lives in the United States. If you or your spouse are considering a marriage-based green card, our firm is here to guide you at every step—with clarity, care, and dedicated legal expertise.
