Michael Wildes, Managing Partner of Wildes & Weinberg was devastated to learn of the passing of Sinead O’Connor, a brilliant musician and former client of the firm. Having released ten albums with remarkable success since her first #1 hit in 1990, “Nothing compares 2 U,” she won and was nominated for several Grammy Awards, and toured throughout the globe. She was a true icon, legend, and a dear friend and our thoughts are with her family during this difficult time. Mr. Wildes (who is also the Mayor of Englewood, New Jersey) had the privilege of hosting Sinead at his home on several occasions. Mayor Michael Wildes stated: “Sinead enjoyed spending Friday “Sabbath” night dinner at our home reveling in our family; blessings; and traditions. She would often take a package home making us appreciate her own spiritual journey. We truly enjoyed the time we had with her. This is truly a great loss for the world.”
