Managing Partner Michael Wildes welcomes Victoria Maria Phillips to the firm. Victoria is in the New York City office and comes to Wildes & Weinberg with many years of experience in the field.

Victoria Marie Phillips holds a B.A. in Political Science and a B.A. in Legal Studies from the University at Buffalo (2015, magna cum laude). She earned her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School (2018, International Law), where she was President of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and Brooklyn Law Immigration Society (BLIS). Victoria was selected as an International Human Rights Fellow, Public Interest Fellow, Post-Graduate Fellow, and Gold Pro Bono Award Recipient for her achievements at Brooklyn Law School.

With immigration, refugee, and international human rights experience in the field both domestically and abroad, working for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and immigration law firms in New York City, Victoria has witnessed firsthand the complexities of the law and the vital need for a safe place to plant roots, enter the global workforce, and call home. She has experience in both business and family-based immigration visa matters and deportation/removal defense, with the ultimate goal of securing her clients legal status in the United States.

Victoria is admitted to practice law in the State of New York and is licensed to practice in immigration courts throughout the United States.

Moreover, Michael is internationally renowned for his successful representation of distinguished individuals and corporate clients such as performing artists, directors, writers, models, actors/actresses, athletes, race car drivers, fine artists, art dealers, curators, musicians, photographers, stylists, and literary agents. Some of the firm’s other distinguished clients include scholar Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks (z’l), as well as soccer icon Pele, Master Chef Jean-Georges and Former First Lady Melania Trump and her family.
