michael wildes appears on fox business channel’s “after the bell”

Wildes & Weinberg, P.C., Managing Partner, Michael Wildes, appeared on Fox Business Channel’s “After the Bell” show with David Asman and Liz Claman to debate the current immigration law reform proposed by President Obama.

President Obama recently announced a plan for immigration reform using his executive action.  By deferring action on behalf of a certain group of individuals, the President is in effect giving work authorization to millions of people who previously were not eligible to work in the United States. Michael Wildes, Wildes & Weinberg’s Managing Partner, says that this makes “complete legal and economic sense.”

For more then 5 decades, the firm of Wildes & Weinberg, P.C. has been servicing the U.S. immigration needs of individuals as well as the foreign national employees of both American and International organizations. The firm, which now has three offices – New York City, Englewood, NJ, and Miami, FL, grew out of the practice of Michael’s father, Leon Wildes, who is most well-known for his successful representation of former Beatle John Lennon in his deportation proceedings, the circumstances of which gave rise to the notion of deferred action, the basis on which President Obama is relying in his most recent Executive Action.
