michael wildes hosts african un ambassadors’ breakfast

On Wednesday May 22, 2013 at One UN Plaza Wildes & Weinberg, P.C. hosted an informal breakfast meeting for UN Ambassadors from Africa.  The gathering was intended to provide the Ambassadorial corps from Africa with the most up-to-date information on the advantages offered by the U.S. Immigration and Nationality Law.

In addition to discussing key issues related to business investments and opportunities in the United States, Managing Partner Michael Wildes addressed specific regulations that apply to these G Visa holders (Employees of International Organizations) Moreover, Mr. Wildes reviewed the requirements of the visa as it applies to G-1, G-2, G-3, and G-4 individuals. As he provided a look into this consular application process, he further explained how to file for family members of the main visa holder and which documents are needed.

As a service to the community, Mr. Wildes offers free  U.S. Immigration and Nationality Law workshops to universities, corporations, non-profit and social organizations, other law firms, immigration municipalities, and to the public at large.  His lectures are intended to increase public understanding of immigration laws and how to remain in compliance.  His presentations have been well received throughout the metropolitan area as he was  previously presented lectures at such noteworthy institutions as Yale University, Yeshiva University, Pace University, Berkeley College, The New School, and organizations such as the American Immigration Lawyers Association, and Weichert Realtors.

This was the first of 4 separate breakfast briefings. Additional seminars are scheduled for the Ambassadorial corps to the United Nations from the Caribbean, the Arab-Muslim countries, and the South Pacific.

Managing Partner Michael Wildes and Founding Partner Leon Wildes of Wildes & Weinberg, P.C., are flanked by His Excellency Zina Andrianarivelo (right), UN Ambassador from Madagascar and His Excellency Raymond Serge Balé, UN Ambassador from the Republic of Congo (left).   The firm hosted the first of four breakfast meetings for the ambassadorial corps to the United Nations on May 22, 2013.
