michael wildes hosts senator richard blumenthal (d-ct).

On March 29, 2015, Managing Partner Michael Wildes hosted Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) in his home in Englewood, NJ. The purpose of the evening was to support the Senator at a pro-Israel event. The evening was presented in conjunction with NORPAC, a non-partisan political action committee whose primary purpose is to support candidates and sitting members of the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives who demonstrate a genuine commitment to the strength, security, and survival of Israel.

Senator Blumenthal is one of the original Democratic co-sponsors of the Senate Kirk-Menendez Iran Sanctions bill. He has been a stalwart supporter of Israel’s safety and security and has gone on record defending Israel’s defensive operations with regard to terror attacks from Gaza and abroad.

The Senator publicly thanked Michael Wildes for his genuine efforts to assist immigrants and Congress as it faces the challenge of comprehensive immigration reform. Michael Wildes is no stranger to politics and government service. He is  a former Federal Prosecutor with the United States Attorney’s Office in Brooklyn (1989-1993) and has testified on Capitol Hill in connection with anti-terrorism legislation and is internationally renowned for his successful representation of several defectors who have provided difficult to obtain national security information. Mr. Wildes is frequently a legal commentator/analyst for network television, most recently in connection with the terrorist threats facing the United States. From 2004 until 2010, he was the Mayor of Englewood, New Jersey–where he resides and was the Chair of the Immigration Task Force of the New Jersey League of Municipalities and also served on New Jersey’s Blue Ribbon Panel on Immigration.
