U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has announced an inflation-based increase to certain immigration-related filing fees, effective October 16, 2026.
The updated fees affect certain applications involving asylum, employment authorization, Temporary Protected Status, and immigration parole, among others. The increases reflect the annual inflation adjustment required under federal law.
Importantly, requests postmarked on or after October 16, 2026, must include new filling fee. Submissions with an incorrect fee may be rejected. The new fees may be found here: USCIS Announces FY 2027 Inflation Increase for Certain Immigration-Related Fees | USCIS
