Steven L. Weinberg was a cornerstone of Wildes & Weinberg, P.C. for more than five decades. After joining the firm, he quickly established himself as a leading figure within the practice and was elevated to Partner in the 1970s. As the firm’s Senior Partner, he provided strong leadership and oversight across the full spectrum of the firm’s immigration and nationality law practice. In this role, he guided complex legal strategy, mentored attorneys, and ensured that the firm maintained the high standards of advocacy and service for which it has long been known.

Mr. Weinberg earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Bridgeport and later received his Juris Doctor from Suffolk University School of Law. He was admitted to practice law in the State of New York and has been a longstanding and active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), the nation’s leading professional organization dedicated to immigration law practitioners.

Over the course of his distinguished career, Mr. Weinberg developed a reputation for exceptional legal scholarship, analytical precision, and deep knowledge of immigration and nationality law. His work has played an important role in strengthening the firm’s legacy of thoughtful legal strategy and effective client advocacy. Colleagues and clients alike recognize him for his ability to navigate highly complex immigration issues while delivering clear, practical solutions.

Mr. Weinberg’s practice spanned the full range of immigration matters. He had extensive experience handling family-based immigration petitions, consular processing, and a wide array of employment-based immigration cases, including temporary work visas and permanent residence applications. He was also well versed in investment-based immigration, advising entrepreneurs and investors seeking opportunities in the United States. From the earliest stages of a visa application through adjustment of status and the pursuit of lawful permanent residence, Mr. Weinberg provided comprehensive guidance at every step of the immigration process.

In addition to his transactional and advisory work, Mr. Weinberg is an accomplished immigration litigator. He has argued complex cases in courts across the United States and has appeared before the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA). His litigation experience, combined with decades of practical insight into the immigration system, enables him to approach challenging cases with both strategic foresight and a thorough understanding of the law. Steven retired towards the end of 2025, but his legacy is carried on through Wildes & Weinberg and all the lessons he shared with its employees.
